New offerings make the Tempo experience even more personal
Announcing Tempo Bundles
At Tempo, our mission is to provide an interactive fitness experience that is all about you and your individual goals. Thanks to its 3D sensor, the AI-powered Tempo system is your personal coach and takes the guesswork out of building the most effective training program for you. First, Tempo creates a tailored training plan (just like a personal trainer would), then during workouts Tempo corrects your form and adjusts the intensity of the class based on your abilities and progress - all while keeping safety as the top priority. Today, we’re excited to announce another push forward with a suite of new accessories and the expansion of our personal coach technology with more training categories and exercises.
Our new accessories, equipment, and content were designed with you in mind. Since our community began training with us last year, many have asked for heavier weight plates, how to store extra weights, and better yet, how to better take advantage of those bigger plates through more exercises like heavy squats and bench presses.

Aside from new accessories requests, we also heard the request for new class categories to complement strength training workouts. Earlier this month we launched boxing with Coach Colby. The feedback on those classes was loud and clear, you wanted even more! Today, we’re happy to announce that it doesn’t stop with boxing - we’re expanding our offerings to include yoga. Yoga was the most requested exercise by our community, and it’s no surprise! It’s an important part of a healthy fitness routine. Tempo’s 3D sensors and AI technology will make our yoga classes feel like you have a personal yoga instructor in your home! As with all Tempo classes, you’ll get form correction and progress tracking to ensure you never stop improving.
We listened, and after months of heavy lifting (get it?), we’re ready to show you what we’ve got for you.




New Equipment and Accessories

As our equipment offering grows, so does our library of content and supported exercises. Each new piece of equipment will be used and incorporated into Tempo classes.
Kettlebell System: Using dumbbells for dynamic movements like swings can be cumbersome and challenging for beginners to grasp. The all new (and easily adjustable!) Tempo Kettlebell System solves this by using the Tempo weights you already own and has a traditional kettlebell handle.

Folding Squat Rack: The Tempo Folding Squat Rack allows you to rack as much weight as you need so you can focus on getting into a safe position to lift.

For those concerned about not having the space for a full-on squat rack in your home, we thought about that, too. The squat rack will fold away for easy storage when not in use.
Folding Bench: Many exercises traditionally done on a bench are modified to be done from the ground in Tempo classes. Now, with a bench in play, members can perform exercises like chest flies and presses from a folding, sweat-resistant bench.
The bench also doubles as a step, and just like the squat rack, packs away easily.

Weight Plate Storage: When we released our heavier weights last year, the biggest question mark was where they could be stored. With this new design-forward Weight Plate Storage, extra weight plates can be discreetly placed alongside your Tempo for easy access, without cramping your style.





Class Category Expansion

It’s no secret that Coach Colby is a total knockout when it comes to her boxing skills, and many of you couldn’t get enough when she taught you how to throw a proper hook.
Now, Coach Colby is developing even more boxing classes for our community to get — as she would say — harder to kill. Gloves and Rocky music are highly encouraged.
And much as our community missed the feel of lifting weights at the gym at the onset of the pandemic, many also missed your yoga classes.
We’re pleased to announce that yoga will soon be offered as its own class category to balance the strength training and high-intensity interval work that so many of our members go through daily. Stay tuned to our social channels to know when it’s live.




Tempo Bundles

Fitness isn’t cookie-cutter, so with all of this new equipment, we also wanted to provide a way of getting Tempo equipment that really matches with what you need.
The Tempo bundles — Starter, Plus, and Pro — provide a more personalized buying experience by enabling customers to choose from different tiers of Tempo equipment offerings that fit their goals and their lifestyles.

What’s Always Included
With every bundle you can expect the AI-powered Tempo Studio - fully outfitted with a 3D sensor that will count your reps and correct your form in real time. Tempo’s proprietary AI builds personal training plans that adjust in intensity as you progress so you never stop improving. The 42” touch screen and a cabinet with competition-grade weights ranging from 1.25-10 lbs, and two 7.5 lbs adjustable dumbbells is also always included.
This is the Tempo that has been a part of the thousands of fitness journeys our members have been going on since 2020 and will be part of your journey no matter which bundle you choose.


The Starter

Who’s this right for:
The Basic bundle is great for athletes who don’t require much more than the basics or may already have a selection of advanced equipment at home.
All of the included equipment is self-contained in the Tempo itself. With a 3 sq. ft. footprint (that’s about the same as a dining chair), the Starter Bundle is also perfect for everyday athletes that are short on space and need a compact fitness set-up.

The Plus
What’s Included:

  • 1 x 25 lbs barbell
  • 6 x weight collars
  • 2 x 25 lbs competition weight plates
  • Essential plate bundle (4 x 1.25 lbs ; 4 x 2.5 lbs ; 4 x 5 lbs ; 4 x 10 lbs)

Who’s this right for:
In this bundle you’ll be equipped with everything from the Starter bundle as well as a bench — which unlocks even more class options with exercises like a bench press and row — a barbell (and extra collars to go along with them), a pair of heavier 25 lbs weight plates, a recovery roller (which will come in handy for mobility and recovery classes), and heart rate monitor.
The Plus bundle is perfect for those who don’t have a lot of equipment at home already and want a functional and foundational set-up for their training.
The Pro

With the Pro bundle, you’ll have access to all of your strength training needs: dumbbells, a barbell, a kettlebell, Tempo’s full selection of weight plates, a bench and a squat rack. Having all of this equipment means your Tempo experience can support you and all your fitness needs at home - whatever your starting level is.
The included squat rack can be a game changer for anyone interested in strength training. For those who may struggle to safely bring weight overhead for lower body exercises like a barbell squat, the squat rack will allow you to train without being limited by your upper body strength. Similarly, those who are ready to squat heavy can do so with ease.

Having the full suite of Tempo equipment is attractive for so many reasons, one of them being that you’ll now have a one-stop shop for everything from strength training, weight lifting, cardio and HIIT, recovery, and more — all within your home. Tempo’s built-in storage, and folding equipment means you don’t need a ton of square footage to have a fully equipped home gym. Plus, there’s never a wait to use a machine.
