Announcing: The Tempo Games

Welcome to the first-ever Tempo Games!

What are the Tempo Games? It’s a challenge for you to complete all classes coached by a roster of elite Tokyo-bound athletes. You’ll train like them, and you’ll train with them.
The first of many athlete partnerships, the Tempo Games brings together the guidance of athletes who will be training — with you — for the world’s biggest sporting event, alongside our existing team of expert coaches and Tempo’s instant form feedback and 3D vision.
In each of the classes, you’ll be put to the test with one of our athlete partners. Every workout is inspired by the training our U.S. champion athletes do daily. The Tempo Games is a lot more than just a workout. It’s the opportunity to learn from athletes who have conditioned themselves for the world stage and to prove that, whether you’re a star athlete or an everyday athlete, there is an inner strength in all of us. Tempo members don’t just train like champions—you train with them.

Meet Your All-Star Lineup

You’ve had the chance to train like a runner, a boxer, and most recently a yogi. Now here’s your opportunity to train like seven of the world’s best athletes, including an All-American water polo player, a pro climber, a world-renowned skateboarder, a top rugby player, a decorated swimmer, and a record-setting taekwondoin.
Here are the seven athletes you’ll be meeting on the mat for your workouts:

Carlin Isles: Carlin Isles is a champion track and field athlete and the world’s fastest rugby player, holding several records at his alma mater, Ashland University.

Jessica Long: Jessica Long is one of the world’s most decorated swimmers with more than 50 cumulative medals. She was also amongst the youngest competitors for the U.S. when she made her international debut at the 2004 Athens Games and will be competing in Tokyo in 2021.

Johnny Hooper: A four-time All-American water polo player, Johnny Hooper was instrumental in leading his team to an NCAA championship.

Kyra Condie: Climbing since she was 11 years old and overcoming idiopathic scoliosis, Kyra Condie was a Bouldering World Cup finalist in addition to a regular in the pro climbing competitions around the U.S. and is bound for Tokyo.

Letícia Bufoni: Letícia Bufoni has been skating since she was 9-years-old and is a multi-X Games gold medalist. Letícia is a member of Brazil’s first-ever national skateboarding team and will be among the first to compete in skateboarding in Tokyo.

Paige McPherson: Paige Arielle “McFierce” McPherson is a 2012 Olympic bronze medalist, Pan Am Games Champ, and Grand Prix Champ. She will be competing in the Tokyo Games and will be the first U.S. female athlete to compete in three Games for TaeKwonDo.

Will Claye: A three-time Olympic medalist, Will Claye earned a bronze medal in the long jump and a silver medal in the triple jump, making him the first man since 1936 and the first American since 1904 to medal in both events.

Taking on the Tempo Games Challenge

The Tempo Games kicks off on June 21 with our first eight classes led by Carlin Isles, Jessica Long, Johnny Hooper, and Will Claye. Find them in the Classes tab of your Tempo.
Be sure to check in on Tempo’s Instagram and this blog to learn more from our athletes, get additional challenges, and be the first to know when the newest Tempo Games classes are ready for you.
See you on the mat, and maybe even on the podium.
